The ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II GL504 offers quite a few ports namely on the right side we have an SD card reader, a USB 3.0 port and a kensington slot. Meanwhile on the other side we see power, ethernet, DisplayPort, HDMI, CTIA audio jack, 2x USB 3.0 Type A ports and one USB 3.0 Type-C port.

The ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II performed quite great when we tried heavy games with Ultimate graphics settings and gave good frame rates too .
Sleeping Dogs , Far Cry 4 , Need For Speed – The Run , Batman Arkham Origins , Watch Dogs 2 , Tomb Raider are few of the games which is tried on ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II .
Note – we tried on both the settings with medium graphics as well as high graphics settings while gaming .
The sound output of the ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II was great and appealing . As the SCAR II has the speakers dedicated to both the sides .
We also tried few video editing softwares for checking out the rendering performance and which turned out to be impressive .
Battery Life –
The battery life on ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II was great as well as not so great at the same time .
Great as per normal usage which includes Normal web surfing , emailing , movie watching etc the SCAR II gave around 4-5 hours on battery but while gaming without adapter plugged in it gave around less than 1 hour of backup which is acceptable as for the gaming laptop like ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II .
Final Verdict –
ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II is available for the price of 1,42,990 INR ( as per Asus’s Official website ) and 1,39,990 ( on other shopping websites ) . The ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II is priced to sit right in the middle of all the MSI GL63-8RE and the Acer Helios 300. As compared to the MSI laptop which costs lesser and the Acer one costs more. The thing of note ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II comes with great specs but here is that it offers a nice mix of features that strike a balance for the price but bears more on the expensive side. But for hard core gamers ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR II is the best buy .
